If you had a well tuned 450bhp RX7, what cars would you compair it to performance wise.
Best comparison is probably a 600bhp Skyline :driving

would depend on driver as some one said before..
i\'m guessing a 450bhp fd would have a 0-60 time of about 4 sec?
guessing also a lower milage chassis would have slight better handling..

i have about 400 powers and my best victory to date is a rs6 avant,i think there about 500 bhp but the spazda didnt struggle at all, im an arse because i love to see there emotions after ive torn past :3gears-rh its pretty close to my mates gsxr600 t2 too

i dont think there\'s much on the road that would stay anywhere near a 400bhp+ rx7
Agreed a 450bhp RX7 would emabarass quite a few expensive sports cars, I\'ve seen off a 911 Turbo, few M3\'s and a RS4 :D

What about 1000cc superbikes? When my fd was standard i played with loads of new and old 600s and kept up with em! In terms of mid-range speed( 80-140mph) i reckon a 450hp rex could beat a 750 , maybe even an old 1000 gixer.
Slightly off topic but on Gran Turismo 4 the race FD handles almost better than everything else on that game !!!!!
the problem is its not just about having 450bhp its also down to alot of other things, need to have other decent mods to support it like decent drivetrain upgrades, decent tyres, lots of things affect it, mainly the driver thou, ive had a play with some very expensive cars but usually they are driven but 50+ men who probably arent pushing it all the way.
I knew a guy with a 750 bike who wanted to race me, unfortunately didn\'t get a chance but I think it would have been close :D

Just for the record the M5 is just over 500 BHP. The New M3 is 414 BHP (Identical to the RS4 as it happens)

LOL, The new M3 weighs 1600kg at 420hp, i would say a proper 450hp Fd at 1260-1300 would make it look like its going backwards.
There int allot that would keep with a proper 450hp Fd but keep an eye out for a 996 or 997 GT2 R but there rare so you\'ll know as its the only Porsche you won\'t be able to pass/ keep with
My boss got given a new M5 as a courtesy car when his M3 was in for a service, we went out for a blast in it....
On the straights it was savage, just pulled and pulled and pulled. But it corners like bambi on meth, understeer is unbelievable. To get it to oversteer you have to REALLY try. Wasnt massively impressed tbh. He also got a shot in the new M3 and he says it didnt think it was much faster than his E46.
My best to date, with just over 300fwhp, is a 911 C4S - which if memory serves me right is the 3.6?? Anyhoo, left it for dead from a standing start and he wasn\'t gaining much on the straight before I turned off.
911 drivers really dont like being laughed at - \'specially by baseball-hatted children in fancy cars with big spoilers!! hehe
same here best to date is a 2006 911 Turbo, wooped him from third onwards, he just couldn\'t catch up and that was on low boost lol :) and yes he wasn\'t happy when I let him go past :D
