are you ordering from england?

if its from america or japan or something, they have series 4 turbo\'s so if they fit a series4 turbo they will fit your series 4 egi .

Other than that, i know that Shocks fit on both the s4 and s5 cars, couldn\'t gurantee springs, tho im quite confident they would

pretty sure they are all interchangeable.

I think the only main difference is that the convertable springs are stiffer as they have a heavier car to support

thats a great help guys cheers, was just a bit confused because apex only list turbo version in fitments, it is from the uk so it should fit ok?

If they list \'turbo\' rather than \'turbo II\' its for the series 4 FC not for the UK, but its the same chassis as far as I know :)

If you are looking for some cheaper springs then i will be selling a set over the next few days. They have done about 30miles and now i have a set of Coilovers.. so they are coming off over the next few days.. I get my car back tomorrow! :)

They are supposed to be a 30mm drop but to be honest i never noticed much of a difference.. but they will be MEGA cheap.

Hey guys, well hopefully the new Teins will be going on sometime this week. The springs are GMAX -30mm. They were new when i put them on which like i said was not long ago at all. I will be looking for £30 delivered for them (most of which will be postage as they are quite heavy). Still have the original box also.

hahahaha! The suspension (fingers crossed) will be going on today! I\'ll try have the springs off the struts and in their box for tonight. I\'ll have them shipped by Friday and they should arrive Monday... That is the plan anyways!

For your information James, my overalls have some dirt on them now from messing about with my seat!

Hey buddy,

We did manage to change the suspension last night but I\'ve not taken the springs off the strut yet.. had a little go last night but with no joy. I\'ll give it another try tomorrow.. If it\'s anything like when we put the springs on originally then I might have to take it to someone with a powertool to get them off. Might be a bit of a delay now sorry. I\'ll let you know dude.

tbf thinking about it wouldnt it be easier to fit for moi, if you leave them on the old shocks?
Title: lowering springs
Post by: Retro_Boy_G on March 22, 2009, 09:13:03 PM
It probably would make your life easier dude but it would also cost a shed load to post.. If you are willing to collect from the Glasgow area then you are welcome to them for £30 with the shocks.

Hey mate, it\'s probably best that you just buy a new set. At the moment I can\'t guarantee when I will have them off. When they are off I will contact you and let you know.

any chance of getting them off yet? :P
Title: lowering springs
Post by: Retro_Boy_G on March 30, 2009, 01:42:02 PM
Hey buddy, no luck sorry. I\'m free tonight so I will try and get them off but I seriously don\'t think I\'ll be able to take the strut apart without a vice or a power tool to get the top bolt off.

Hey buddy, i managed to get the back two off (funny enough these are the two that i thought would give me grief) but i honestly can\'t get the front two off. Next time my mate is over we can give it another bash as it\'s more of a two man job when you don\'t have the correct tools. :(

Sorry amigo.
