Title: Good insurance Companies for FC Cabs??
Post by: uncle silvia on March 11, 2009, 08:01:55 PM
Hi all

As posted on another thread Im looking at an 1990 FC Cab this week and If I get it Ill obviously need to insure it!!

Ive only got as far as Confused.com etc so far and I am getting some good quotes for an FC, However the site does not Reconise the Convertable Model of the FC even though its a UK car??

Would the Convertable model be lots more and does anyone know any good insurance companied for them??

Im 26
9 years NCB
1 non fault accident in last 5 years
car has aftermarket alloys, filter and exhaust and ill like to lower it if i get it....... otherwise standard,
The car has a factory fitted alarm (may upgrade to cat 1 if nessessary),
UK car
5000 miles a year

I was paying £650 fully comp on an S14 Nissan Silvia Import Drift car with all mods inc a cage declared 1.5 years ago!

Cheers!

Try Performance Direct...

Got my S5 Cab insured with them last year for £250 with the following conditions:
Garaged
Limited mileage (4000)
Cat 2 immobiliser
Fully comp on classic policy.

Got the renewal through this year and its £180 (!!) I\'ve just turned 30 so being old does have some benefits! :D
