Title: HOPEFULLY USEFUL My proposed single turbo setup diagram
Post by: DR SCHNITZEL on March 09, 2009, 11:17:33 PM
Hi all. I just put this picture together which is my intended setup for my to4r.

This setup is super minimal.

Does anyone forsee any possible issues with me using this system/setup.

I dont want to blow the thing up. Any advice at this stage would be mega super smashing great.

HAPPY BIDDING

In particluar can someone confirm the use of the 3.5mm hose and 5mm hose as per key. Is there anything ive missed which is needed as far as plumbing goes. the fuel system is just for basic reference.

I Cant post a pic on here as im not a full member now and im not really selling it. All goes to comic relief if you do bid BTW

Cant really see the digram in detail, but the hose sizes are 4mm and 6mm.

Cheers. I Think Ill Make A Really Good Super Detailed One For All To See. Do You Think It Is Too Simplistic?

Can I Use 3.5 Mm Instead Of 4mm And 5mm Instead Of 6mm?

Ill Try To Photobucket It Later So Its More Detailed

You can use smaller hoses bud, they are a bugger to fit but if you use a heat gun (or in my case the wife\'s hairdryer) then you should be fine. (just dont break the hairdryer like i did, they go ballistic!)

OK mate ill give that a shot.

I Just been given 2 reels of 6mm and 4mm copper pipe which i can bend around the engine bay so it looks real neat. I have never seen anyone use copper pipe in this way before. For the wastegate and boost controller im thinking. maybe for the blow off valve too. Will there be any problems using this stuff?
