My local Mazda dealer serviced my car last week. When I collected the car they said that my engine mounts needed replacing and they would do it under warranty but I would have to take the car back once they got authorization to carry out the work.
I had a look at the mounts myself and I can\'t see why these need changing!!
The car drives perfectly and there has been no vibration even at idle.
Am I missing something here? I\'ve had the work carried out today (See photos of old and new)
Car is 2 years old and has done 7,500 miles - 231 Model

BTW we have changed you to Full Club Member, sorry for the delay,
Thanks Clive :)
My car is a 2007 and that Bulletin says cars produced before May 6, 2005 so wouldn\'t I already have the upgrade? They look the same to me
Would there have been any visual signs of failure?
I am worried about an early failure due to driving style
