Title: Dash water temp gauge not working... ideas?
Post by: Jim_rx7 on March 04, 2009, 08:21:54 PM
Ok... so today I can finally say my Rx7 is up and running properly!! :D

My only problem is that my stock water temp gauge isn\'t working. It just doesn\'t budge!

I\'m thinking that I possibly didn\'t plug something in right when putting the engine back together.

The Apexi PFC hand controller shows the water temp etc, but nothing on the stock one.

any ideas chaps?

thanks

the dash water temp sender is on the passenger side under the oil filter to the left of the    oil pressure sender.  There is a single little (yellow iirc) wire that plugs on to it

Yip.. I\'m sure that\'s plugged in. It\'s a little black plug which comes right off the loom exactly where the sender is.

Wonder why it\'s not working then.....

Not that bothered tbh, the Apexi hand controller is doing the job fine.

I\'ll get some aftermarket gauges soon too. :)

White one??

I\'ll have a good look about. Where exactly is it?

I remember there being a plug just up behind the glove box area. Can\'t remember the colour though. Not that hard to get to.

Anymore info on this?
