Title: Just got it home
Post by: A R on February 24, 2009, 09:38:23 PM
Well thru to the description the car need a lot of little and medium things done. I am reading the Haynes manual but it makes little sense.

The steerings is "interesting" to say the least. At first I was a bit like James May when he was driving the Countach and said that one should not meet childhood heroes!

Well after 274 miles we bonded well. :3gears-lh

Here is the preliminary list of priorities:

Inspect everything and replace/repair as much as I can afford!

Cheers,

welcome,
the temp looks fine especially with the cooler weather at the mo, the gauges are more of a general idea, i have aftermarket oil, water and exhaust to help keep a eye on things

I am thinking of going with separate gauges as you mentioned. I was thinking of an A/F gauge as well???

If feels strange having a car with a caburator and distributor as most of my other cars have being fuel injected or diesel.

I com pletely forgot that cars had chokes!

Ours runs just below the half way point, never above half way.
