after replacing semi-syn oil with mineral, FD runs noticably smoother and eager to rev? Anyone had any similar things happen?

its not that it used to run poorly, its just that it seems a lot smoother now.

i thought exactly the same thing after replacing mineral with semi-synth!

i\'d imagine any type of fresh oil allows the engine to run a bit smoother, repeated heating and cooling killing off oil\'s lubing ability and all that.
