Ive got a 96 Impreza sti which Im breaking at the moment, which comes with a nice carbon strut brace, and guess what, it just happens to fit the rear of the rex, lol

Just needs some holes drilling, lol

Looks quite snazzy aswell

not sure how that "would" fit

as the rear brace usually fastens to the top of the suspension - which is about 6-7inch lower ??

unless you are just going to bolt it to where the pics shows ???

Would just bolt it where it sits, it wouldnt have its full function there, but when the cage goes in the rear setup would certainly look spunkworthy!

If you have a cage in there...adding that would be a tad unnecessary Shirley?  The cage should have a bar welded between the two strut mounts.

you need one.  or it should have one (a proepr strut bar in your cage setup. We removed the top  part of the strut so to speak (its actually just a speaker holder and thinner than a fag paper.)

A strut brace placed there would offer nothing to rigidity and just be pointless as the thin metal would flex and twist.

It would purely be for \'show car asthetics only.. and therefor pointless in my books.. Get the cage in...  sell the strut brace to some tarded Scooby owner and use the cash to get a decent strut bar welded in extra dude!!!! :)

Hmm - it would have no function there other than to cause a bit of resonance from the speakers :Giggle
