Title: FD Transmission Tunnel
Post by: J_T on February 19, 2009, 11:05:23 PM
Does anyone know if the FD transmission tunnel is large enough to take 4WD gearboxes without modification?  Does the transfer box cause problems with exhaust routing at all?

Has anyone got any pics from underneath an FD shell and/or pics of a 4WD conversion please?

Thanks,
Jon

not sure how this would work... the engine is a long behind the front wheels for a start.

I think you would have to "turn" the engine 90degrees????????
seems like alot of hassel and you would probably ruin the car!

it would be interesting though!
