still could be one of a few models, I can tell you it isn\'t an RZ or RS as they were 2 seaters, probably won\'t be a touring x as at that point they were autos I believe. Leaves you with Type R, RB, RB Bathurst. If you don\'t mind me asking, what sort of price is it up for? With that mileage you are going to need to factor in the cost of a rebuild in the near future. 60k is a guideline figure, some last less many last more, but over 60k think in terms of borrowed time!

I asked where you were viewing cuz if it was local I\'d come along and have a look with you, not that I\'m any great expert but thought it wouldn\'t do any harm.:)

I\'m guessing it\'s this one? http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=5207

looks tidy, for that sort of money on a 96 car, I\'d say it\'s a good price, but make sure you have the money in reserve for a rebuild

PS model wise shouldn\'t worry too much as only UK uns tend to have sunroof as i recall & true milage may signify a rebuild aint far off (presuming no rebuild already) i thought most 96 models were 265 as standard so it maybe one of the tourer type models which were slightly less as i recall, read not 100% but then memory is a little shot to remember all of Brians essay lol, to be honest thou i dont think there is a great deal between the various models as standard anyhow & there\'s the list of optional extras & aftermarket mods which can make sumin into anything......
Best bet is ensure it\'s in a standard your expecting, with budget or wotever, & how it\'s been treated as all the models come with quickness as standard init
