Title: ABS Light
Post by: Waddock on February 13, 2009, 10:05:46 PM
Hi all,

I have had a faulty ABS system since I changed the sensors after breaking one when changing the suspension. With all this crap weather I think I should fix it!

Can anyone direct me to some information for diagnostics? I think it is one of the front sensors, probably the passenger side. A friend has said I need to measure the voltage the sensor produces when the wheel turns round. I suppose I can do this by jacking up the front, removing one sensor connector and measuring with a multi meter? What voltage should a working sensor produce?

Also I pressume they are designed to be turned a specific direction? Therefore if I bought a used part for the passenger side and the seller sent me the drivers side sensor instead this to would send incorrect voltage to the ABS control unit.

Thanks in advance for the assistance I am sure someone will provide :god
