Ok... I have the oil pressure sender - unsure where that plugs into
Also the little connector underneath it (water temp?)
Finally the sensor on the sump.. also unsure where that plugs into.
Appreciate any help here chaps... nearly done!
The sensor on teh sump attaches to the loom just to the right of the block (if you\'re looking at the bay from the front. Its about half way down the side
right. Think we got that one sorted. Also oil pressure also working fine.
Only thing that\'s annoying me now is the coolant buzzer is on all the time!?
So obviously somethings not quite right?!? LOL
The plug from the water filler neck is plugged in. Is there another that would do the same??
I might be able to answer that one as I did the same thing. As long as its got the correct water level then you may have put the wrong wire onto the level sensor, offhand I can\'t remember what colour the two confusing wires are but they could both be black. Look for a wire that will reach the sensor and swop them round, hopefully it will stop buzzing.
Is the other water sensor the one under the oil pressure sensor?
What plugs onto the little plug under the oil pressure sensor?? I took a plug that came from the main engine loom. More or less at therop of the gearbox.
Done a bit of reading etc and it looks like the oil pressure sensor and water temp sensor are defo correct.
Something oviously isn\'t! Doh
it is water temps sensor.
Laeeq
I\'m gonna have a good hunt about tomorrow and see what I can find/swap about etc and see if I can get this buzzing to go off!

no I think thats the knock sensor, take a pic
Knock sensor lives near the front of the engine above the front set of plugs.
At the back there\'s the oil pressure sensor (which is connected fine) and a little sensor undearneath it. (water temp?) - that one is also connected as there\'s really only one place for it as there\'s a little connector that comes right off the loom there.
Ok.. I know roughly what connector should be connected now (I think it\'s actually broken off - hence why it\'s not connected!!)
Hi Jim
I was wondering is you managed to sort this out as I am currently having the same problem with my car after putting the engine back in.
Cheers
Dave
Yeah, I sorted it.
What were you having issues with?
