Just finished putting my car together after a winter rebuild of the front suspension (new uprated ARB and adjustable shocks) and when the car was back down on the ground I took the opportunity to whip the plugs out and take a look (not been out in 3000 miles) ... I know the car has been sat for 6 months or more and it failed to start due to a flat battery about 2 months ago (possibly sllightly wetted the plugs) but is this normal ?
Rotor 1
Leading - Dark brown - with brick red electrode
Trailing - Dark brown - with brick red electrode
Rotor 2
Leading - Dark brown - with brick red electrode
Trailing - very light brown - with darker electrode
if this were a boinger i\'d be thinking it was running lean on one cylinder ... but how can that be when its on the same rotor as a "normal" plug ? All the plugs are identical and are the standard ones as far as heat rating is concerned.
I will check these again after a long hard drive and see if it varies ?
