Title: T2 Cab Tyres
Post by: rupertbear on February 12, 2009, 06:50:19 PM
I\'m struggling to find any performance tyres in the old-fashioned high profile size (205/60 15) for my T2 Cab original wheels. Everything high grip and suitable seems only to be available in low profile.

Any suggestions? What are others running?

Or you could just go down to a 55 and 215 width, if you are struggling, difference is only 1.5% compared if you just kept the 60 profile, went to a 215 then it would be over 3%

Thanks for that, Pete. I found an online calculator and checked it out. As you say, 215/55 would have been reasonable but there\'s even less available in that size.

In the end I\'ve gone for the original size and a set of Vredestein Sportrac 3.
Some of the TVR wedge people run these and they\'re also specified for classic Jaguar racing so should be OK.

Pete, do you still have the big plastic spanner for the wheel centres?
