Elo,
Gonna change my spark plugs over the weekend and this time gonna use standard mazda HT leads.. just wondering are racing beat, ngk etc ones for the rx7 any better does anyone know or are the stocks fine throughout the power ranges (stock to singles) ?
much thanks

I think a good strong spark is paramount on a 3rd gen so I\'d go for as good a quality and thickness as I was willing to spend on them. I\'ve had a few annoying problems that decent leads and colder plugs have cured 100%...
I recall Ant testing the resistance of various HT leads a couple of years back, the differences between brands was very noticeable. I dont recall how stock Mazdas compared to others I\'m afraid...
cheers treacle :)
which one\'s would you recommend and where can I buy? :)
my exsisting one\'s look pretty cool, they are def aftermkt as they are red :)
im running magnacor in the FC - and they seems just fine - and at 8mm they are bigger than the mazda ones
and at £60 they were half the price of mazda ones ( so that made the choice really )
i was gonna email magnacor with pics of the differences in the lead ends - but not got round to it yet - just another thing on the to do list :)
so where in this country can I get aftermarket HT leads from then? Don\'t make me import some dagnabbit :)
try WGT thats who i got mine from
failing this try magnacor\'s website ( they will deliver them to you ! )
not sure of the addy - sorry
thanks

yes they are all different lengths !
they are really nice leads actually ( yeah i know thats really sad )
the only thing i didnt like is that they dont have the IDENTICAL ends to the mazda ones - but they fit just fine !
i did notice a difference with the leads - only because one of the HT leads i had , had welded itself onto the top coil and then burnt its self in half !
gettin some from Shy (http://www.shyauto.co.uk) in the end :D
