Got a chance at an HKS FCD that was once fitted to a Toyota Celica or Starlet or something.
Will it work if i hook it up to my PFC F-con? They arent model specific are they those FCD\'s?
Cheers!
Looks like some will, but not all:

If it was on Celica or MR2 then it\'s the same device - just change the setting knob to 2 (from 7)

Yeah it was on a Celica GT4 Thanks again Prof! :Thumbs-up
It was on a Celica GT4 but it was the ST205 model made after 1993. The HKS website link you gave me there states UP TO 1993 So prob a diferent thing.
my fcd will fit all TII and any ecu :p
correct me if im wrong but they all do the same thing. that is after stock boost, the fcd just tells the ecu its at max boost even if it is over stock boost.
eg max boost is 8psi, at over 8psi the fcd tells the ecu its still at 8psi.
(you can see i need the money for my rebuild) :Giggle

They do all do the same thing - but some do it better than others. What they should do is keep the signal exactly the same until a point is reached, then maintain the output at that point. What most of them tend to do is alter the curve or line so that an error is introduced in the fuelling which gets worse as the boost increases. It\'s possible to correct some of that error by compensating for it with fuel pressure increase - an adjustable FPR with a rising rate can do that for you. Alternatively, you can adjust the FCON to bring more fuel in as the boost increases.
