Is the positive connector on the same side as the bosch injector??
There isn\'t any polarity shown on them and im in the process of soldering my FJO injector driver in.
Any help would be greatly apprieciated !
Shaun
Don\'t think injectors have polarity.
have a look on rx7club, they all use the drivers over there, i dont think many people use them here, i didnt.
what is the reasoning behind them, i didnt really do much research when i changed my injectors. plus i dont understand electronics lol
I found it on eng-tips in the end. The bosch ones have the + on the plug more for diagoniscs !
The driver is much more acurate than running with resistors. There is lag caused on low levels with a resistor which makes it harder to tune idle on bigger injectors. Plus if you don\'t run a driver or resistors then your running the risk of overloading the ecu injector driver.
It also means the injector gets the correct signal too.

ahh, i remember reading that some where now when i bought my 1680\'s
i didnt use the resistors either, may i should look into installing them
For about 130quid they are worth while but im running 875 primaries too that are low impediance so all injeectors are controlled though the driver !

Where did you get it from? Will need one to run my 1680cc secundaries.
+1 on KrisD1s question, might be useful for safely mapping the car
I have been told you can get away with only the secondaries. One of the tuners said he never used resistors so you may be ok.
I bought the FJO injector driver from usa Ebay. Got it from this guy :

Very helpful, not too expensive on shipping and is a main dealer on the FJO homepage.
Shaun
good price it seems.
thats what i was thinking, if you have just upgraded the secondaries then you can get away with it.
let us know how you get on with it.
Will do :D
