Title: How do you tell?
Post by: MaLicE on January 29, 2009, 11:30:02 PM
how do you tell if your running sequential or non sequential twins???

i mean is there an easy way, its just i thought if i was running sequentials i would get 2 kicks and i only get a constant smooth boost increase it hits .5bar and stays there....

is there a simple way to tell if its running non sequential or if the second just isnt kicking in?

any other way to test?

Running sequential a healthy surge of power is instant from about 1800rpm then a much healthier surge around 4500rpm. If you are running non-sequential i would imagine you start to build boost around 2500ish and get full boost about 4k.

Try from fourth/fifth gear below 1500rpm and put you foot down and watch for when your boost goes into positive pressure
