It\'s been a long wait but I\'ve finally picked up my new car! Caught a train down to Surrey, then drove the Rex home in heavy rain... bit of a handful (well, I\'ll be honest, it was a bloody nightmare trying to tame my right foot! :D ) but I got her home in one piece! Spun the rear wheels regularly, but just about managed to control myself! It\'s fookin\' scary fast, gotta be honest! When it\'s wet, as soon as the second turbo kicks in, the back end wants to overtake the front, no matter what gear it\'s in! It\'s a \'97 RS-R.
Phil, if you\'re reading this, I absolutely love the car mate, couldn\'t be happier :) It scares the s**t out of me every time I get in it :D

OMG I saw the pics and a smile was on my face :D Its gorgeous. Youve made me want to place my order right this second. Im saving those pics to my Hard Drive for sure. One is definatly going on my desktop.
Is this what the 1997 RZ looks like aswel? Except for a RZ sticker? Are the alloys different on an RZ (BBS)?

One thing I dont understand is I thought 1997 RS-R only came in Yellow. Im probably really wrong though :)

Hi Chris, you\'re partly right, the RS-R only came (I think) in yellow and black, and possibly with anthracite wheels too? Anyone confirm/deny this?
The RS-R also came with Bilstein dampers as well. And yes, it\'s as sexy as hell :D
