Title: Selling My RX7!
Post by: mikemike180 on January 20, 2009, 06:28:55 PM
Hi guys,

Its time to sell the RX :(

I bought the car about 6 months ago and i just cant afford to run it

The car

2.6 Twin Turbo (93)

Its done about 35K

Its Pretty standard

It has the bose sound system in the boot

1yrs MOT and taxed till 30/04/09

The engine runs very sweet and the car inside, outside and underneath is in great condition

Unfortunatley i didn\'t get very much paper work with the car when i bought it, a few past mot\'s and some service recipts

I bought the car for £6000 and was basically just looking for round about what i paid

A few changes from the pics, i\'ve added some smooked repeaters and rear tail lights (the red ones at the bottom) i also have rear spats for the car.

If anyone is interested or got any questions just ask

Thanks guys

The way the current market is looking mate I don\'t think your going to see anything like 6k for a fairly stock example, as you can get a single tuby one for that! ones with full rebuild proof & warranty ar only fetching 4500ish :( sad to say but it\'s the market at the moment! hopefuly with the exchange rates the way they are, it might push the price of the imports up, as you are looking an extra 2-3k more to get a car in now compaird to 6-8 months ago!

Heres hopeing!!
Good luck with the sale though!

Jono

interesting... high stakes game of cricket?

seriously though, you\'re going to lose something like £2,000 off the price you paid for it. providing it doesn\'t need any expensive parts surely you won\'t spend that much on running it a year?

Mike,

Thanks,

Brad.

Well you tell me somewhere near Aberdeen i can get it done and i will!

This is another reason why i\'m getting rid of it, knowone near here has a clue about them, when i bought it, it was lacking in power, tryed getting it looked at and that was something big in its self, finally got someone to take it in and was charged a fortune for them to finally realise it was a faulty air pump! (easy fixed) and if i had someone who had any knowledge of them i would have save a packet

I cant afford the run the car anymore either and i\'m looking for something little like a quicksilver (easy)
