Title: Go-Tech ECUs
Post by: Archbish on January 20, 2009, 10:40:39 AM
Anyone familiar with the Go-Tech ECU\'s (http://jam-sport.co.uk/gotech.asp)??

I\'m looking at the ECU options for the 1st gen, and Microtech is still the winner, but if anyone has any experience with these I\'d be keen to hear more...

From reading it you will need to install a knotched crank wheel and magnets which create the Hall effect which tells the Ecu TDC type postions along with rpm, its really for Ford engines that uses these type of sensors.
I would stick with Microtech as you will use the existing Distributor on your TII and a MAP sensor much easier to tune

Yup, that sounds more work than I\'d like to do...  Back to the Microtech then  (LT10s with the coils)

I\'ve been looking at a LinkECU G4. Not sure on the cost but is very nice, 6d mapping.
