Title: FD Squeaky Belts
Post by: philwhite on January 20, 2009, 07:54:38 AM
Quick silly question, how do I go about stopping my belts from squeaking? I\'ve checked them and they\'re all tightly fitted with no play at all?

What could cause this, cold weather perhaps?

Phil.

What sort of condition are they in? Squeaky belts usually indicate incorrect tension or the need for replacements.

Alternatively, it could be one of the pulleys, perhaps?

Could have a mouse hidden in the engine bay?
