Title: fuel flap problem
Post by: redgti on January 19, 2009, 11:26:33 AM
i have a problem with my fuel flap on my fd, it will not open when i use the pull inside the car, and i don\'t really want to force anything down the sides of it either. any clues on to what is going on. As far as i can hear the cable is still connected.

the spring is busted inside the flap, you need to have someone pull the opener inside the car whilst you just help open the flap.

Could also be a funny connection on the handle inside the car itself.

It happened to my last fd, the cable was somehow not sitting properly on the lever itself.
