Mazda Rotary Club

I plan to book a 200 car stand for Rotorstock 6 will will be available to ALL Rotary clubs to park on, with means the RX-8 OC and FDUK as this is one the one event whereby we need to show a big ROTARY presence.

As Rotorstock 6 is now only a one day event, I need to try and gauge how many of you will only require a Saturday ticket and those of you will stay the weekend and enjoy the Retro show on the Sunday.

Don\'t forget, MRC will discount the ticket price stated by Santa Pod to full club members.  Details of this will be given when the tickets are available to purchase.

If you bought tickets for the Japshow last October, as you know this event was rain off.  If you still have your tickets you can exchanged them for Rotorstock 6 tickets.  Please note that it is your responsibility to do this, not MRC\'s, so please contact Santapod direct to organise about changing your tickets over.  See:-  http://www.santapod.co.uk/g_find.php

Hmm i had high hopes of attending this years Rotorstock, but there is a big meeting here in norway that same weekend called Gatebil. So i guess it will be next year instead then.

Retro Show is great too and compliments RS well - so I echo Brett and will be happy to make a full weekend of it! ;)

I\'m more than likely going to be doing Drift Demos for the pod (if its on) so doubt I will need an entrance ticket but I would like a stand pass if thats ok?   (havent voted either way yet)

Not sure about coming to Retro show, but defo coming to RS6 - and will be coming to this event with MRC - see you all there :)

Last year Full club members were allowed to buy 2 discounted tickets, details will be available shortly and you\'ll be able to purchase them via the club shop.

Hi Sean

I am sure Santa Pod will exhange last year\'s RS ticket for the 2009 one.  However, it will only be the Saturday ticket for 2008 that they will exchange as it was only Saturday that was rain -off.

Contact Santa Pod and they will advise you of the procedure.

Hurrah! Finally got the leave confirmation slip through (about two months after I faxed it, what do these people in Head Office do all day long FGS!?). Hopefully will be there both days now. Hopefully won\'t wake up in the middle of a swamp this time, either! :Giggle

Hey... Nice to see that this year, ROTORSTOCK6 will include HKS Drag Series + EDC ...!

We will come over from France for the whole weekend (like we did last year), but this time we should be coming over with our own RXs...:yes FD3S + RX8...!

So Lisa and Clive it would be lovely if you could save us a spot for us, near you...:cheers

If anyone is still very interested in attending Rortorsock 6 and have not indicated on the voting poll, please could you do so, in order that I can get an idea of the number of tickets required.

I am going to purchase 150 weekend tickets (Rotorstock & Retro Show) and 50 Saturday tickets (Rotorstock only) in advance and can probably get more later.

I will let you now in due course what the tickets prices will be and they will then be available via the MRC shop.

You need to contact Santa Pod direct, believe the procedure is that you have to write in enclosing the ticket and tell them which one you wish it to be exchanged for.

Just a thought for those who are looking to stay in a B&B / Hotel, have a look round now and try to book up as early as possible. Had a look last night and found that quiet a few of the nicer B&B\'s are already fully booked that weekend. :(

Jono you can buy 2 tickets at the member discount price and any others at the non member price.

I heard the other day that the Pod werent letting camping on the friday night. Shame as it would make the saturday the whole day.

Well, that\'s the plan... Hopefully be MOT\'d within the week, and mapped shortly after (although a protective map to let the car get run in before getting a bit more funky with it...)

I\'d be reticent about convoying up, incase it went pop for whatever reason (well, one reason - I screwed it up...), and don\'t want to hold people up...!!  But it would be excellent fun tootling along with others!!

Well we\'d be more than happy to have you join us. jo\'s rx4 will be coming so you\'ll be amoung old skool friends :p

Unfortunately no, but you could camp at Billing, on the Friday night and then come over to Santa Pod on the Saturday.

Billing is a great campsite, only 20 min from the pod, not worth putting up a tent for one night at the pod, 3 nights at Billing 2 Adults £60.00
