Title: What a difference
Post by: Gatesy on January 14, 2009, 05:15:29 PM
Stuck some Falken 452\'s on with new 17\'s on saturday and what a difference.  Ride feels smoother, I no longer get wheelspin in 3rd if I boot it on the motorway and grips alot better around roundabouts and bends.
Put some 235\'s on the rears and 225\'s on the front & had a full 4 wheel laser alignment done.  Anyone in newport who needs tyres fitting in South Wales (I bought mine off of camskill) check out Themestand in Newport.  Fantastic service and miles cheaper than anyone else.

Great news bud and you\'ll probably find that the 4 wheel alignment had a lot to do with how it drives now :driving

I too have these tyres but will not know how they handle til i get the rex back on the road. What are they like in the wet? How much did you pay for the wheel alignment?

Ive been running these tyres for a while now they work well in wet and dry. A good reasonably priced all rounder

Full 4 wheel alignment and wheel balancing cost me £65 and they disposed of my old crappy alloys for me as well.

I have these on both the RX-4 and RX-8,

RX-4\'s not fast enough to tell but on the RX-8 I have noticed that whilst the grip is good in both wet and dry you can feel the tyre moving around more than the Bridgstones on the same tyre pressures giving the car a bit more of a wallowy feel when pushed, suggesting the wall is flexing more.

Overall though a very good value tyre :WaveBye
