That head-on shot, it looks like Dylan the Rabbit from the Magic Roundabout! :D

Is quite cool, though. Looks funky. How\'s it work? Seen these kits on eBay and wondered if they were a con or not cos they\'re really cheap. Is this one of them?

Yup, flea bay special! Only 20 quid delivered. Looks cool but opperation is kind of clumsy.

For example you have a 3 way togle switch:

Pos 1 - normal headlight opperation fully up and fully down etc etc
Pos 2 - "home" position on the switch (baisicly dosnt do anything)
Pos 3 - now this is the silly bit, there is no "memory" so you have to adjust the headlights everytime you want to set out with them at a sleepy angle by squeezing the togle switch down until you get them where you want them. Then you set the switch back to Pos 2 and your ready to rock.

Would be MUCH cooler if there were a "memory setting":cool

Was sooo easy to fit though! Took an ape like me a matter of minutes! Lol!

Nice one, i love these kits.

I prefer to call them "sleepy eyes" as the cars looks half asleep.

I actually have a "lazy eye" and when i get tired, my left eye does alsorts of wonderfful tricks, including going cross eyed, slight twitching etc.......its not terribly noticeable, and i dont look like some drug taking gurner off my tits in a nightclub.
Your car with one headlight up and one down, would definitley recreate my lazy eye ! :D

There must be a way of modifying the switch on the dash?

On my FD, if you press the button slightly, to make contact but not lock it into the on position, the lights pop up and go straight back down, like a wave!

Occaisionally only one goes up and down, or down and up like a wink, now that\'s the kinda control I want :)

I really don\'t get why people do this, It looks stupid. Its the kind of thing Chavs would do if Saxo\'s/Corsa\'s had pop up headlights.

Oh shush.  it may not be to everyone\'s taste, but it\'s his car.  Try this - if you don\'t like it, keep shtum, and go elsewhere.

Ha ha! Thanks for sticking up for me guys!:cheers:Thumbs-up

I guess some might think its chavy but i like \'em, like i say though i wish the opperation of them wasnt so cumbersome - if thats the right term! LoL!

Might "suit" the car more when i put the Desmonds on her! :cool Right now i cant shake the feeling that people may just think my lights are broken!:rollin

you could always go for the burnout front bumper. They have gaps instead of the flash to pass ports. Then you could sell your beautiful splitter to me :D

Do you think it would be ultra naff if i made those gaps in my standard bumper? And fibregassed in the resulting area? Wouldn\'t all that rain and road dirt/salt get in and rust out the front subframe crossmember thingy?

Because i\'ve been toying with the idea! Lol!

And a certain little italian boy i know has just found himself with with a Turbo II bumper and no need of it! Gianni! Its project time! Lol!

well i think the burnout kit fills that gap, so maybe ask someone with one if you can have a look? Tbh i can see it looking naff, but if you have a spare bumper? worth a try :D

Oh i know! Kind of a shame that was the only colour you could get them IV\'s in! Sometimes it looks great other times its a tad gash! Lol! Although i think there was a choice of colours for Infini III\'s?

Could be wrong though, \'tis not unknown!
