You cant see it properly but there is serrated edge around inside of the turbo, has it been modified in some way and what will the impact be of this if it has?
its a second hand hks to4r kit.
what do you mean exactly...are the wheels damaged?
Are we looking at the compressor housing cover? if so it looks normal to me
Serated edge on the fins?? Sure its not a blender your looking into?
:rollin :rollin :rollin Haw haw haw, i dunno know how i come up wiv um! :rollin :rollin :rollin
Ahem sorry:(
you sorted out so it spins freely dude?
Yeah it spins now like dream dude the hot bit wasnt on tight thats all. should have a new oil feed for it tomorrow too.
Yes im talking about the compressor housing. the inner edge looks like its been crudely filed. ill post up a few more pics. its a hks to4r kit.
these pics show much better what im on about it looks as tho its been opened up for more flow!!!!:Hammer
anyone then? been told this is what hks do to it at the factory?!?
looks like it\'s been machined down, but after a quick look on the Garrett website it doesn\'t seem like it would affect the turbo\'s performance? i may just be completely way off understanding turbo jargon, but seems to me that Garrett are saying housing size doesn\'t matter, only the trim.

might reduce heat and resistance but its so shoddy i dont think hks do that kind of a job on thier garrett turbos!!!!!!!!!! baffled
Good to know it shouldnt make a difference anyway. im still going to smooth it off.
