Ive got 3rd gen UK Spec, they didnt do that many of them, I was just wondering if there was any way of finding out what number it was. It might not even be possible.

By chassis number should do it, Mazda will have records of what chassis they officially imported by they may have deleted or archived them, worth a try though.

Uk roads: salt+grit+lots of rain = some rusty RX7\'s. I hope not though. I owned one once and it had actually withstood the years of British weather - was a 93 model.

Hi Eddie, Is yours a Manual UK Spec or Auto, I think the UK spec is the same as the Jap type X with all the extras, Sunroof, Cruise control, Airbags And full Bose audio, it took a long time to find mine, but wanting a manual made it more difficult,
Bob

I\'ve got one aswell, no BOSE audio tho and it is a manual. AFAIK they are spec\'d as an R1 (twin oil coolers and suspension) and come with cruise-control, airbags, air-con, sun-roof and full leather. Also they have more cats - one in the down-pipe aswell as the main one - they were supposed to make 237bhp standard
I think the chassis numbers for UK cars start FD13 too.
This thread might be a good way of finding out how many are out there - we could make it a UK Spec FD register!

Well mine\'s a Jap one type X must be a different model then with just one oil cooler and slightly softer suspension, one cat,
UK models have the long rear number plate.

Hi mines a manual no Bose audio but cruise control sunroof, very nice. I bought mine very cheap very good condition and completely standard. I wanted one for ages, this one came along I had to buy it uk or jap. It had been dry stored since 2001. I couldnt belive it. I had it compression tested before i bought it, they were late 7\'s early 8\'s. I had to buy it. I will put some propper pics up once i get cleaned up.

You can add me to the list, although maybe not for long as am thinking of selling up. Anyone interested, or know someone that might be, in a low mileage standard car then send them my way.

Mine is a UK spec RX7. Owned it since 2000. Was originally registered by Mazda Uk in May 1992 and photographed for use in their brochures.

Now 17 years old the engine has never been apart. Still produces 320Bhp on the Dyno. Only mods are exhaust and a Power FC.
43,000 miles on the clock.

Chassis no. ends in 00055
