Well, have had a period of absence due to other commitments taking up most of my everyday for the next few years so thinking of parting with some of the toys. Having had this for many years now and not made much use of it. It just isnt being used enough to warrant being parked on the drive anylonger. Think it maybe worthy of someone who will utilise it to its full potential. I believe there are very very few proper Jap spec track RX-7\'s out there fully prepared for circuit usage with complete genuine JDM parts fitted from bottom to top!
Although not too sure what the current market would fetch!?
Below are some pictures and spec of my circuit car. Hopefully, it will see more action in the not too distant future. ;)
Any and all comments appreciated! :)

ps its not a Stillway 0-400 lockout shifter looks like a REA shifter
Blitz, cheers mate. Need to edit above. It came with stillway lock out shifter which made its way to the Two Tone RX-7. ;)
Current is a quick shift kit by Border Racing.

i PMd him back on fduk dude...
back on topic - fantastic car....perfect track spec and If it did become for sale, it would IMO be the best and most sorted FD on the market by a mile
I\'ve spoken to Freddy about the car and I am extremely tempted... I would just say to those weighing up a suggested price, it isn\'t mapped for UK fuel or registered in this country, so you need to factor in a PFC (or your ECU of choice) and mapping. Also, it would be way too loud for any track in this country (on trackdays anyway), so there is a bit of work there.
Not trying to dis the car, it\'s lovely! :D
Freddy, did you get my last PM re: gearbox etc.?
ill take the turbo >:)
Ian - just saw your PM now, will reply. :)
Tis true, the car is amazing top to bottom.
Most RX-7 owners here have had to remap their car at some point. There were only 125 UK Spec RX-7\'s the rest of the thousands are all imports.
Registration is a simple £150 affair with the DVLA and noise wise, the exhaust system is loud and sounds gorgeous. Anyone in the know will say just how much a Border Racing Exhaust system is worth, for track usage it would require a quieter exhaust but I\'m sure there\'ll be many up for an exchange. :)
Gurj - think the Two Tone will probably never be up for sale. However, you can never say never. Atleast for the next 5 years I know its going to live in the garage!
Also, for everyone that has contacted me. I am not planning on breaking the car! I know its worth a lot of money in parts but something I will not do. The car is one of better prepared track spec RX-7\'s in the country and would not make sense to break.
pics of the two tone?? im interested :)
I dont have any pics to hand, there may be some threads somewhere on MRC.
The two tone is not so much just the exterior.
The car is number 3 off the RX-7 production line, owned originally by a design team member in Hiroshima. It has done less than 5000 miles since brand new and modified to it\'s limits.
Titanium under chasis components, full titanium custom exhaust, titanium manifold and host of other upgraded parts.
with regards to a suggested price, it is a very tricky one...IMO, this car is just as good as the 3 rotor car - that might sound controversial to some but hear me out...
this car is a factory colour low mileage car and has probably had as much money thrown at it as the 3 rotor has. The 3 rotor has been painted some grim shade of green (sorry i simply dont agree with that!) whereas this car seems much more presentable. It has the perfect track turbo IMO to boot and coupled with the immense fuel system, cage, brakes, wheels, suspension, original border kit and engine spec, makes for just as good a package as the 3 rotor if not better perhaps (im not 100% clear on the full spec of the 3 rotor car - the ad that craig has is rather vague almost as though he doesnt want to sell it!).
If i were to price this car, i reckon it would pitch it in at 12k as the spec really is superb. yes it requires minor tweeks and registering but registration is a cheap affair and mapping is 700 inc the ECU so its not exactly doom and gloom!
I stand by my comment that THIS if it were put up for sale would be the most sorted track FD and where my money would go if i had enough!
Thanks Jit. Understand what you mean. There are a lot of RX-7\'s for sale on the market priced cheap but not many properly built quality FD\'s for sale. This car is doubt very very well built all round.
It\'s just a shame that the car isnt being used much. :(
