Title: advice on removing abs????
Post by: leeincivic on January 06, 2009, 11:14:10 PM
yo yo yo!!!

i am in the process of a major refit to my engine bay which includes gettin rid of the abs, with fitting the bigger front brakes the abs seems to come in that bit to soon and its annoying me and i prefer the feel that non abs car give, plus its gonna give me some room to relocate all the stupid fuse and relay boxes to that area:)

i was just wondering if anyone has done this and could point me in the right direction?

I\'ve done it - should be some info in my build thread (see sig). Pretty easy, but I did junk 90% of the standard brake lines and made my own up from flexible braided kit.

My abs fuse was out and after locking up the front wheels at 80mph the i decided to keep my abs forever. Id consider getting rid of the pas tho.
