Title: local rotary specialists?
Post by: afennell on January 05, 2009, 10:57:54 AM
Hi,

I’m thinking  of change in my weekend car this year and looking at a rex.
I have a garage I use locally and trust (Engine Advantages) but was wondering, if there was a rotary specialist in the Essex area.

Thanks

Engine Advantages????!!!!! You gotta be joking I wouldnt trust them with a remote controlled car lol. My last FD engine  was blown up coz of them

There are loads of us around Essex way that could help if you have a few problmes mate.

Nearest person witll be Yoda ( JayDee ) or Kerim at Powergains near Brentwood and Romford

Sorry to hear that, I have never had a problem with them. Saying that I won’t take an rx7 there if get one, maybe they aren’t very good with rotary’s!!!!
Nice to know there is some one local, I have found their post code and it’s close to where I work.
Thanks

Oh crumbs!

Heard some real horror stories about them bud on Passion ford.

Try and look for the pic of skybus, had some work done by them guy goes off then comes back says there is a rattle in the head, they whip the rocker cover off and find a 10mm socket still in the head:2eek

Also ask about M600 Cos and how much he spent there for basicly an engine that lasted 50 odd miles and £15k lighter and it exploded as it was never mapped properly.

Take it to Jaydee mate, hightly rated on here but loads of people.:Thumbsup!

Rotechnics do a free shipping service from that sort of area I believe?  Give them a call to confirm though.  They are based in Reading
