Shortly I am going to be looking for a set for tyres for my FC. So what can you Guys recommend? What are you running and how do you find them?
Loved the Eagle F1\'s and a fan of Avons too, both suited my rx\'s quite well :Ladys-man
Were they good in the wet then?
Not bad at all, i had Avon\'s on the front and eagle\'s on the rear, worked well together :cheers
Toyo T1R\'s
Has anyone used these? They look ok and are a very good price

Although the Falken\'s got a better rating than the Avon\'s.
i use the falken 452,s and rate them highly never had a problem wet or dry
I\'ve been impressed with Kumho KU15 on front and rear. Not sure if they make them any more though.

This thread may be of use? I was gonna answer your question but then remembered I already had, saves typing it out again :D
It all depends on what sort of use you\'re looking for. Road use i would suggest falken 452s or possibly a set of Yoko to the same spec (ie Parada or the S drive). These will give you good performance in the dry and wet on roads.
However if its track use then you cant go wrong with either Toyo 888s or Yoko A048s in my opinion. Or you could be super cool and drop a set of used slicks on there, if youve got a set of 17" wheels though (cheap on ebay if you find the right ones!)
Hope this helps mate.
Yeah I\'ve heard a few reports about the kumho\'s from the Skyline boys but I had never come across them till they said about them. You reckon they\'re pretty good then Shaun?
Time to try and find some prices out for Yoko\'s and Toyo\'s then.
Very happy with the KU15\'s on the FD. They are good in the dry and feal safe on lowish boost in the wet.
I have cheaper Kuhmos on the 1st gen but they are good for lower power levels !

Anyone know where to get Yokohama AVS ES100\'s? I\'ve looked high and low and i cant seem to find anywhere in the UK that sells them!
Only reason i\'m looking for them in particular is because i already have two that came with some alloys and they have great tread left. So it makes sence just to get another two.
Goodyear eagle F1s :), £60 a corner delivered...sorted :D
