A friend of mine here in Denmark has purchased a new clutch kit and offered me his used OS Giken twin clutch. I thought I would see what a overhaul kit would cost but I am not 100% sure which model it is.
The only stamp he could see was on the cover, C-D
Following OS Gikens chart: http://www.osgiken.net/products/racingmultiplate.html
I would say it\'s a TS2CD
TS - pressed steel cover
2 - twin plate
C - 215mm
D - spring damper
Looking at the model numbers, they don\'t list TS2CD for the FD3S. The only model with C-D would be R2CD, but the R stands for "Billet aluminum for center hub" and his is a pressed steel cover?
Maybe someone here can point me in the right direction?
Thanks
Oliver
If you got 215mm disc without spring damper then the part number is "TS2C"
With spring damper it\'s "TS2CD".
Messure the diameter on the disc bequse there are clutches with 205mm disc.
Hi Oliver good to hear from you,
I would say you will be looking at around 700/750 euro for a kit but I think you will find that most parts coming out of Japan will be having around a 40% increase over the next few weeks,
Happy new year
Got my OS Giken rebuild kit from these guys http://www.osgiken.co.uk/ very fast delivery
I have the TS2C which looks like what you got
Hy Oliver... Just me thinking here, but don\'t the OSG clutches always need the converter (push-pull)?
yep you need the convertor as well plus you have to mod the Clutch slave cylinder as well
twin plates do yes
Ok, That\'s a big help, Thanks Blennow, Clive and Blitzboy.
I will see what I can do.
Appreciate it , Happy New Years!
Hi Neal,
Yes I\'m aware it needs a convertor. Basically, I wanted to see what kind of funds would be need to rebuild the clutch but now, I think I\'m leaning more towards just buying another new clutch kit down the road.
Thanks guys

Well spotted, I should have read the whole post :Hammer
As Mark points out you will need the other relevant parts to make this work in an FD that has a pull type clutch as O/S clutches are Gen 2 push type clutches
Sorry Oliver you posted before I did,
Main reason was to also give other people info on these clutches who may be reading this thread,
