Title: Using your rear seats!?
Post by: Rotaryguru on December 27, 2008, 10:15:50 AM
Heres something i\'ve found with having had numerous Christmas parties on at the moment, my FD can comfortably fit four people!

I given rides to friends going home from parties etc, and even with lots of christmas presents bags and boxes, we all fit!

the longest is an hour in the back, their legs were a little stiff, and getting out of the car can be a little undignifed.  :Giggle

But they enjoyed a ride in an RX7!
So, who else uses their rear seats regularly?  :wiggle

You can easily fit 2 slim hot chicks in the back of an FD and I regularly do :)

I\'ve had 4 people in once and swore never to do it again, unless Kelly Brook, Angelina Jolie and Cameron Diaz all needed a lift. Even then I\'d still think twice, but if Kelly asked nicely and smiled i\'d do it!

blimey rotaryguru you must be short, im not the tallest of people and have to have the seat most of the way back and no one apart from a small child could fit beind my seat, on the passenger side if they put the seat forward can usually fit another person in the back

I\'ve owned an RX7 (in some series or another) for over 10 years now. I once shifted house, using my 1980 Series 1!!

I have simply learned to drive with my knees in my chest, and face 3 inches from the windscreen... :Thumbs-up

I love my RX7! :D

I have the rear seats, bought them so I could pick up my boys from school. Worked great for a few years but only use them now for short runs around town.
For adults, it\'s a diffrent story. I have only had one passanger for a 2 hour run to a rx meeting. He survived but glad it wasn\'t me.

I once had my wife\'s sister in the back in one of the Dwarf Buckets......

hmmmmm, could perhaps have phrased that slightly less ambiguously there :Giggle

Can\'t take more than one rear seat passenger, though, as my drivers seat is as far back as it\'ll go and the passenger would literally need to be legless....of course, if they were sober, they\'d never get in the back of an RX-7, arf! Thanks very much, ladies and gents, I\'m here all week :rollin
