Title: Pop up headlights not working and no home for plugs...
Post by: markrx7 on December 22, 2008, 09:13:17 AM
Hi all sorry about the wierd thread name....

Took my dash out to change the heater matrix (this was a couple of months back) so i couldnt remember exatly how and where everything plugged in etc...

well first up, headlights popped up and lights all work but now they don\'t go back down..... is there a fuse for these or have i not done something ? all fuses under the bonnet and by the accelerator pedal are ok....

second up, i have a white plug which looks like it goes to the manual pop up headlights which does fit this button next to the speedo but they do not shut even with this plugged in plus it is way to short to reach its standard location (i imagine its just caught somewhere when the dash was put back in)

Guessing this is not why they are not closing....

and 3rd up right up behind the clocks and nearish the top of where the clutch pedal thingy goes there is a black rectangular plug about 1.75" long which doesnt have nowhere to go and its got no length on it to go anywhere else than near where it is at the moment... im confuzzeled! everything else seems to work fine! (havent driven the car yet however but it starts fine and runs etc)
