Hi can anyone help.
When indicating left in my FD they flash really fast, (all bulbs are ok) rear side and front still work just really fast.
The right signal is ok and the hazards are ok, a nice constant speed, just the left one.
I also have a faint beeping from under the footwell which will be my f100 box but does anyone know if this box also holds the indicator relay? or would the indicator issue be a separate problem.
Thank s
here\'s the wiring diagram for the FD indicators - can\'t see any mention of the F-100 relay in it...

Thanks for that, yes cant see it either, just seems the clicking was coming from that area, maybe the relay for it is near the f100, will be investigating it some more over xmas.
Thanks
The vast majority of problems with indicators that flash fast are either a blown bulb or a bad earth. I believe that most flasher units use the same circuit to control flasher speed and just switch the output to left side or right therefore the flasher unit could be fine. If the bulbs are OK check for corrosion inside the bulb holders or poor wiring causing bad connections.
Well, added and extra ground to each of the bulbs and still no joy, not even a glimmer of it slowing down.
Took out the f100 box which defo controls the relay side of things will open that up and see if all looks ok.
cheers for the help guys
Hi Trotter thanks for the diagram, don\'t suppose you have the (think its called) the f1-01 flasher (F) from the CPU no2 circuit diagram do you.
Thanks
lol well they always say the simple thing should be checked first :)
So took out the f100 thing and re soldered it all: managed to sort out my faint beep so not a waste of time.
But no joy on the indicators, left still clicking faster.
Took the right hand side indicator and side light wires from connectors and swapped over the full wiring and it slowed down.
Great tracked it down to the wiring, so tried to earth it out again and still the faulty one couldn\'t flash slower.
In a moment of inspiration thought swap front bulbs over (doh) problem fixed.
So for some strange reason the bulb went faulty but still flashed, it has always worked at the correct speed just decided it had had enough at working at that speed.
ha ha hours spent messing around but at least its sorted.
Anyone else had any problems with bulbs like this before (first for me)
Not had a problem like that before but were both bulbs of equal ratings?
Hi Ash
Yes both bulbs equal rating, (bought as a pair) in the same pack) and as mentioned worked fine for a year or so, cant believe I messed around for hours, just goes to show check the simple stuff first. I just didn\'t realize the bulbs would still work.
