Hey everyone, is anyone here running bosch injectors? I need some larger ones for when I upgrade my turbo, I know they do good fuel pumps, but I was wondering if anyone was running their injectors.
I have found some 1000cc and some 1600cc injectors (im guessing that the 1600cc injectors are bored out)
anyone used them before?
im running their 1000cc and never missed a beat. Better flow pattern than 1600cc
I don\'t think the Bosch 1600\'s are bored out, I think that is a stock size.
Some 1000 or 1200 cc injectors are bored out versions.
HKS, SARD, Blitz and I think Greddy all do 1000CC.
Marren, Bosch - can\'t think of any others off the top of my head doing the big 1600cc ones.
If you put larger secondaries in the existing fuel rails, you may find that you need to change the fuel layout - as the pulsation damper was meant for 550\'s all round - not sure weather it would cope with much larger secondaries. You can go for a parallel fuel arrangement, where fuel is supplied to primary and secondary rails together, and then fed back throgh a regulator to control pressure correctly - returning via a single line. There is a right up on the fc3spro site:

Although the stock system will probably cope with 400 BHP, with a change of fuel pump (you\'ve already done that).
I was just asking as I was getting worried about the change in price, the Bosch 1000cc and 1600cc injectors are about £60 each whereas the 1000cc sard (the biggest they do) are £150ish each. AshRX, what is the lag time on the 1000ccs? I can\'t find it anywhere lol where did you get yours from? Did you get the sidefeed sort or was your fuel system modified to accept top feed for your FD?
Is there any way in upgrading the pulsation damper? I know that the FD pulsation dampers fail causing engine fires, apparently the FC sort are a bit better though :)
Would it be worth getting 1600cc injectors and run at a lower duty cycle or should I just go for the 1000cc sort and stay at that?
Just checked out Marren injectors and they do 1680s and they seem to be pretty good :)
I have also found this site:
http://kgparts.com/index.php?page=kgfuel
They do aftermarket fuel rails and stuff for rotarys, but they also have a bosch 1680 injector lol
Marren also do a pulsation damper :)

I\'ll be running Bosch 1680\'s soon - AFAIK they are the ones that come in the KGParts kits for the FD that a lot of people here and in the states use :)

I have uprated rail for the 1000cc, but next week im putting 1000cc in the primaries as well.
Lag I will have to check later but I know its a lot less than some of the Sard injectors as I ran 800cc Sards on my GTR
OK cool :) sounds like I might get some 1000cc injectors soon :) considering that your FD AshRX is running at 548bhp @ 1.15 bar of boost lol im looking at being at around that pressure and if you can get that power safely with those 1000ccs then sounds like a plan for me lol
What would be easier? getting a different fuel damper or chaging to a parallel setup?
