was going to say, stay away from the ebay clutches that i have seen on ebay but havent seen that one before, if your staying with standard power then that will be fine.

I wouldnt buy it, Europe Exedy is different to Japanese Exedy ,had two of those things in my pulsar GTIR they last less then 1000 miles cr*p quality, plus the Exedy UK didnt want to know about my warranty claim, was going to take them to court but in the end couldnt be bothered with the hassle

I\'ve got one of those installed by Carl (supplied to him by me) when he rebuild my engine and I haven\'t had any problems with the clutch after nearly 5000 miles.
I think that it should be fine in a standard power car. IMHO

Exedy does not authorise any of their dealers to sell clutches on ebay.
There\'s a good chance it is a fake.

I followed your link and there\'s no way this is real,

Not only have Exedy warned me that there are completely fake clutches out there but if you look at this one the cover is the wrong colour as the Exedy one looks almost chrome like, o/k this could be the camera but the center plate looks all wrong as well,

Seems to be like a funny bulge on the center plus 4 really "iffy" looking rivets and monster torque springs that are all wrong,

Lastly, no way on this planet are Exedy selling these clutches out to their dealers at any where near this low price,

We can sort you out a clutch on this link if you want, however the clutch is made from metal rather than chewing gum,

Hope this helps

I agree with the points above, ebay exedy clutches are usually fake and won\'t last long, considering the job of changing the clutch its just easier to spend a bit more so that it last as long as it should the first time round :)

I did wonder as to the authenticity Clive which is why i posted it up really, and being as i\'ve seen and used Exedy clutches in the past i didn\'t think it was genuine, for the reasons you\'ve said above, just trying to save a bit on costs as we all do, especially at the moment :D

its a false economy though, you either buy a fake clutch for that price, fit it and it breaks, then you buy a proper clutch, fit it again and it works, or you just get a def. proper one and fit it :)

Welcome to MRC!

Unsure why your first post should be an attack on how much we charge for delivery of clutches unless you have joined for this very reason :3Confused!.

We charge this because of the weight

Thanks for the welcome :)
But as for you calling me an Attacker on my first post thats incorrect. I asked you a question i felt i needed to understand just like i would question any supplier if they said £20 delivery.
And as for the first post when i registered i was unable to post and have never got round to another post :)
