Title: Has anyone go their dash slightly apart at the mo?!
Post by: SiH on December 13, 2008, 11:41:44 AM
I sort of need a bit of a favour!
I\'ve got some LED bulbs for my cluster and I\'m having trouble with them not lighting - I\'ve stuck a multimeter on the tracks and I\'m only seeing just under 5v, which i think is the issue.
Has anyone out there got their dash apart and fancy just pinging the lights on and sticking a multimeter across two tracks to see what they\'re seeing?

Do you have your little wheel thing turned up for full brightness.

Yup, maxed out :)
On minimum it\'s just below a volt.
I\'m trying to see if that\'s tight - i think i\'ve got a dodgy earth somewhere, as the trip counter lighting goes out when i put the lights on, I think the voltage issue might be another symptom...
