Title: MOT pass - woohoo!!
Post by: trotter on December 08, 2008, 10:53:33 AM
As above,

I know it\'s kinda expected now, but credit where it\'s due and a big shout out to Pip for his service on Saturday.....

had the lady over at WGT on saturday to get her through the MOT after the shocking emissions debacle, and she passed with flying colours!! Only advisory was play in both upper rear struts but Pip told has told the MOT guy before that they all do this!!

Got the front seat rails changed over (rounded bolt), boot struts replaced (another rounded bolt) and all the work to get the emissions under limits. Pip even threw in a wee map-tidy-up session for free!

It was only me, Pip and Dave (first time I met him - top bloke) in so I spent the day wandering around and chatting/drinking coffee/eating toast. got a couple of special cars in just now...a rally-spec RX8 getting a NA 20B, another FC getting a single tubby 20B. Pip was also telling me after xmas they\'re dropping a FOUR ROTOR into an FD!!! :flamed :flamed :3gears-rh

Overall, a great day had - Pip and Dave were more than happy to answer my annoying questions. Anyone looking for some work done I can\'t recommend them highly enough!!

Peace!! :WaveBye

- Pete, if you catch sight of this i\'ll drop off your charger this week at some point!

T
