Title: xcessive Lower Inlet Manifold
Post by: nicksterrx7 on December 07, 2008, 10:55:54 AM
Guys (and ladies), in my quest to improve the RX I am interested in the Xcessive Lower Inlet Manifolds...however I\'m unsure as to the benefit of such a mod.

Has anyone had one fitted, does it offer greater acceleration, more BHP or another benefit?

I have a street ported twin turbo running BNR twins (which are a fraction longer than standard twins - due to the bit welded in the middle).  Interested to know if this mod would be conducive to those I already have (too many to list).

Appreciate any comments.
Nick

Not sure if you can use it with a rats nest. Better off doing a search on rx7club because they have more experience in them.

They are supposed to give something like 30% better flow so in theory you would need to re-tune to it.

Main use is equal length runners so in theory equal egt\'s per rotor. They also have 4 injector ports so useful if running big power on a single where more fuel is needed.
