Title: T04z Vs Gt4094
Post by: turbo boy on December 06, 2008, 02:21:36 PM
After many weeks of dreaming about BNRs and Knightsports, the simplicity and pricetag of a single has swayed my decision. Only problem is, which single do i need? I`ve put off doing a bit more on the rex because of the weather, im still rebuilding and want a single for the summer. I have the usual mods; medium street port, down pipe, mid pipe, fmic, and hopefully in a month or so apexi fc. Obviously i will need bigger injectors too. Can you run 2 1000cc primarys and 2 1600cc secondarys? The car is only gonna be used about several months of the year. So the question is; which one is faster spooling? Which is better?

Can be dependent on what you want to use the car for too. Are you looking at drag or track ?

Usually people run 850cc primaries and 1600 secondaries although you will probably get away with 550/1600. I\'m in the process of having some rails machined to give me 850/1600 !

There are plenty of other stuff you will want too with the fueling system such as an after market FPR and possibly an FJO injector driver (most people use resistors). Also you will want to look at other mods like a bigger fuel pump.

The twin turbo downpipe isn\'t used on a single.

What level of bhp are you aiming for ???

Yeah i`ll probobly run it for another year on the stock twins. Im always stocking up on parts you see and it won`t be long til i need a single. The cars mainly for picking up girls and stuff:mmmm. But yeah the odd drag race won`t hurt. I want it to have similar spool up time as a stock twin, i dunno 450ish sounds about right, not to little not to much. I`ll probobly do the same as you, 850/1600 sounds good mate.

gt35r would probably be better.
