Heres your chance to spend my money.
I want something i can fit myself, and something that makes the car stand out from the crowd.
the engine is standard apart from a mazda speed back box, and a RE-A induction kit. but engine mods arent a \'fit yourself\' job anyway.
any ideas?
Wings???
It seems to stand out enough as it is - i would put the cash in the engine mod fund and keep saving!
Get yourself the Feed carbon door handles and vents that sit behind the front wheels.
Fish
How about the RE-Amemiya rear arch trims that you are missing, may be a rear diffuser too?
May be some lower springs if that sort of thing rings yer bell.
wings are proving hard to get hold of.
The rest of the bodylit will need spraying and fitting, and i dont wanna have to do that.
And if i lower it i will scrape on anything and everything on the road.
There must be something interesting or innovative for this price.
I thought Nitrous, but i dont fancy blowing the little rotary apart.
Can I be sensible and suggesting putting it to one side for when something goes wrong?
If I had that money to spend I would be getting a 2 way diff, and some of them new clear front indicators. It all depends what you want.
You could always hire some pretty j-girls to hang round the car at rotorstock. That\'d get everyone\'s attention. As for fitting yourself... :D
Iain
you guys are forgetting this is my Max Power car.
I need a bee sting arial, 5 tv screens, stickers, flashing gearknob and a 14 year old girl in the passenger seat.
I cant find any links to the FEED stuff. anyone?
Theres some feed handle pics here:
http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3428&highlight=FEED+and+Carbon
On a more serious suggestion, how about an RX8 gearknob. Get an illuminating one and it will glow red :D
the FEED stuff does look quality. But i think i will save the handles for the day my ones break. And i forgot all about the RX8 gearknob and bought a Richbrook one.
I think a carbon fibre bonnet will spoil the look of the car for now, which leaves me running out of ideas.
I think i might replace my RE-A induction kit with either a twin cone kit, or something with a box.
How much will it cost to get a Power FC and commander set up?
With a commander, probably about a grand including the mapping.
Lee
would you say it was worth it with my little engine mods?
Depends if you want more in the future I suppose.
Im not really a Power FC fan myself.
NEONS
Already has them - theres a thread from a few days ago  :p
yep. and i dont want any of ya getting jealous :D
really - cant be bad !
what about a full window tint for the car ?
not sure really - you could stand here ( well sit ) for hours mentioning things
what about some interior mods
1 - footwell lights
2 - door handle lights
3 - petrol/boot lights
what about a nice MRC sticker in the front window ??
ive got footwell lights.
what i need is a projecter that lights up the sky with the RX7 badge just like batman has:cool
do the footwell lights come as standard on the 3rd gen ?
nope
ah right - how have you done it
i put some 2inch neons in the footwells - but they dont work too well - so they are coming out
Ive got 6 inch LED bars rather than neons coz they dont need a transformer :D
My undercar kit is LED too. like i said, they dont need a transformer, and LED\'s last longer than neons.
ooohhhh and then can be bought from ..... ?
what about some carbon canards for the front?
I think most neon kits sold these days are LED. they are about £175 for a kit.
:D ive just taken delivery of my knightrider strobes and neon wire!!!! \'Bling Bling\'
what about getting some nice fog lights installed on it
or failing this put some huge KC lights on it ( 4*4 style )
it may not look right - but it would get you noticed !
Its got near enough the same kit and colour as mine, it doesn\'t need anything! :D :D
If you get a fourteen year old girl for the passenger seat then you will have plenty of time to decide what you want to spend the money when you get locked up!! :rollin
i did intend on getting some gull wing doors, but ive been told by a japanese contact that the kazamautos kits are getting complaints from their customers, and other kits are more money.
Plus ive had the time to sit and think about it, and they are pretting pointless. they look trick, but you have to open the door normally before lifting, and from some vids ive seen they look very delicate.

but if you\'ve got the money, do it with hydraulics like gary.
Aint worth the plasticine they are made from!
Note how gently they are using them, then see how someone nomrally opens the doors on a Diablo. Nomrally the Diablo doors are just wrenched open like any other door.
Also note the enrty size on those cars. The kit seems to add something new and interesting, but makes them a PITA to get in and out of.
If you have to do wacky doors, do it with some other kind of kit please!
Ive cancelled my order.
but what to get next....?
They truely look appalling! they flap about all over the palce, look like they\'re held up with bit of string or some thing! See how ginerly he opens and shuts then - probably worried they\'ll fall on the floor if he\'s not careful!
all it will take is me pulling the door down to shut it and it would break.
I bet most of the kits are like this, because it has to hinge two ways.
Im just glad i found the videos before my order went through.
I probably wouldnt get in and out either :)
Just to add my ten penneth, those Feed carbon handles in that pic, well they aint carbon!!
