yes you can but you will need to change engine mounts, run it as NA of course, put in the RX8 ecu and other ancillaries, basically no point for the cost and for less power

but you get a very reliable good looking car :D

thought you could proably spend the same money on a couple of rebuilds which would give you  total engine life of around 120k miles. So unless you plan big miles, not really worth it. Also, 8\'s handle better so you probs be better off just buying one :D

You get a lower performing uglier car.  To me the 3rd Gen is such a wonderful timeless design!!!

yea, apparently they have a stiffer chassis due to the B pillar (i think its the B pillar, the one between the doors).

im just going by what ive read on hear.

im sure someone will come and explain it at some point

They may well be stiffer, but it isn\'t down to the B pillar as they don\'t have one!

The Rx8 engine is only good in an FD when its been rebuilt into a short block 3 rotor. The N/A drag car that was built not too long ago is awesome !

Only rolls royce has made a rotary that runs on diesel....shame it needed another engine to run along side it to give it enough compression lol

if thats the case, my stock turbo II engine has more power and much more torque for 1/20th of the price!
