... my front plate just \'fell\' off while I was washing the car this afternoon.  God it looks better without the damn thing on there.  Found a place down the road in Lewisham that\'ll do custom sizes but for now...

Engine bay is the original colour - innocent blue mica - so it doesn\'t stand out too badly.  Paint job was done in Japan b4 I got it and is a beautiful colour - quite a lot darker to the eye than the photo and has nice metallic undertones with a violet flip.  Unfortunately the paint job is quite poor quality up-close as I notice every time I polish it.

Matt black might look good but matt finishes are harder to keep clean.  Personally I like matching the main colour with some detail highlighting and lots of shiny inside bits.

I didn\'t think they did 7\'s in that colour till the \'99 onwards changes, I\'m guessing that yours is a 96-99, by the back wing?!

Not that it doesn\'t look amazing!!
[note to self] Must clean dirrrtty black car very soon! [/note to self]

I guess it\'s not IBM then - what\'s the blue/greeny colour (like Lee\'s)?  I guess it\'s that colour.  Mine\'s a \'92 car btw.

The piccy was teh end result fo a few hours washing and polishing and was well worth the effort - lovely afternoon to be skiving off work treating the FD!

Went for a blast last night with the g/f out round tonbridge - found some twiddly lanes and car now has nice muddy streaks up it\'s sides.  That too was well worth it!

Black cars do look the dogs-danglies when clean but get dirrrty pretty fast!

Cheers Andy,

Best thing about the Lewisham place is the 10 minute walk to get there to make sure thay\'re going to do exactly what I want :)

Smallest plate possible, pref with \'mazdarotaryclub.com\' along the bottom and with the GB euro-flag emblem.
