Hey Guys,
I have an error code of 45 which is for the Charge Control Solenoid Valve.
I have one of the black box rats nest as shown in the attached photo. On a pre 96 model this solenoid was the second one in under the plenum, where is it now? Is it contained within the black box or is it one of the two located at the front left of the plenum?

In your photo of the black housing, it is the top left one - the one with the big white spot next to it.
Be warned, if you haven\'t done it before, taking the housing apart to get to the solenoids is a real pain. The housing is quite fragile and has to be taken apart in a particular sequence. You need to be brave to prise the parts apart!
I had two housings - the one on the car showed a leak in the pressure pathway, so the pressure tank would loose pressure. I managed to combine the two housings into one, and also found 2 solenoids that would leak pressure/vacuum gradually to. I have yet to test the complete re-built housing though!
