Not sure whether this is of interest to anyone on here as quite a few of you are already regulars (the bit in blue might be) but it\'s a good opportunity if you haven\'t done a trackday before. Let me know what you think.
Club MSV introduces ‘Arrive and Drive’ trackdays - 20 minute track taster sessions for just £25
Club MSV, MotorSport Vision’s in-house trackday department, has introduced ‘Arrive and Drive’ trackdays at three of its circuits, where drivers can take their own car onto the track for just £25.
Arrive and Drive sessions will take place at Snetterton, Brands Hatch and Cadwell Park this December. The event is designed to offer drivers a first taste of circuit driving without having to commit to a full trackday.
Alex Baker, Trackday Organiser at Club MSV, said: “Arrive and Drive gives you the chance to experience every aspect of a normal trackday event and all you need to take part is a car, a driving licence and some enthusiasm! The track is really the only place that you can explore the ever-increasing performance of the latest cars safely and legally, and we are keen to encourage drivers to come along and have a go on our circuits.â€
Customers that have booked a Club MSV trackday within the past 12 months will also be entitled to one 20 minute slot free of charge if they introduce a friend to the scheme*.
Arrive and Drive trackdays are available for £25 and will take place on the following dates:
Snetterton - Sunday 7 December
Cadwell Park - Saturday 13 December
Brands Hatch - Sunday 21 December
Spectators are welcome free of charge and can also experience a flying passenger lap beside a Club MSV instructor for a small fee.

We might have //www.track-club.com coming along with a selection of their cars but it\'s not confirmed yet..

I\'d be very interested in this - but the one local to me (Brands Hatch) is too close to xmas - will already be heading back to the family by then :/

No plans yet although there could be an opportunity in January.
Booked in for Brands on the 21st of December. I\'m well up for this - seem like a good intro to track days without giving the car too much of a thrashing.

Any tips for preparing the car as its my first track session in the FD. Should I set my Tein super-streets to full damping? what about tyre pressures etc?

just make sure fluids are all ok, good tread on tyres, no lose gear in the car. Leave the dampning as its aonly a 20 minute session so you wont have time to set it up properly. Take a few psi out as the tyres will expand very slightly with the heat
Make sure windscreen is clean too.

Yep that was me! I don\'t think I was prepared for the mental onslaught that track driving is and I may have held a few people up going around but I had a wicked time. I also spun off on my second lap when my tyres weren\'t really warm enough so I drove really cautiously after that.
Ash - Your car looks fantastic in the metal and I loved the flames from the exhaust!
