Title: water injection??? whats it all about?

dont really know much about it, can anyone fill me in on the gains of having a water injection system??

Main benefit is it\'s ability to remove heat from the combustion chamber.
If you tune for the fact your injecting water you can make more power, if not you lose little bit of power depending on how much water is being injected, but you still have the benefit of it\'s in cylinder / rotor cooling.

Yep, and it works a treat! :)

Sadly you do lose that bit of power, but it\'s better than a busted rotor tip from pre-detonation caused by overheated induction air (at least that\'s my understanding of the "safety" aspect of WI).
