Title: FD3S Rear fog
Post by: spanerhed7 on March 28, 2004, 10:46:43 AM
Just put my car in for the MOT for the first time since I bought it and it failed as the rear fog didn\'t work (could have been a lot worse, I know), it does not seem to have one fitted. The car is a 92\' import. I\'m pretty sure it has to have one, but have never seen an FD with an extra lamp hung on the rear bumper, whats going on??

Yep, you must have one for MOT time.  Quite a few owners put them on for the MOT and take them back off again afterwards - being a bit of an eye-sore sitting below the rear numberplate.  Others have put their fog lights in the rear light cluster, and some others use the high level brake light.

cut 1 of the +12  fog light wires. run 1 cable to the fog light, from the switch. paint the bulb red.viola MOT
car still looks totally standard.(you can even use the switch for the front yellow fog lights.
